Terms of use

Effective date: [[FILL: effective date of the terms of use]]

1. Scope

These terms apply to this website, to the account, to the Craft Planner and to the Craft Helper.

The provider is named in the Legal notice.

2. The programs

Program Terms
Craft Planner Not released yet. The website offers no program file. The use will need a sign-in with a Google account
Craft Helper Not released yet. The website offers no program file. The use will need a sign-in with a Google account

Both programs advise. They send nothing to the game. The user performs every action in the game.

3. Independence from the game publisher

Craft Planner is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Grinding Gear Games.

The user remains responsible for following the terms of the game publisher.

4. Account

  • The account uses a sign-in with a Google account.
  • The user shall keep access to the account to one person.
  • The user can join the Discord server of the project and link a Discord account. The button "Join the community" on the account page does both in one step.
  • The user can ask on the account page for an email when the tools are available, and can take this back there at any time.
  • [[FILL: minimum age for an account, under the governing law]]

5. Pilot phase and subscription

Field Value
Pilot phase Both programs will start in a pilot phase when they are announced
Pilot period The pilot period of 30 days of every account starts when the tools are announced. An account that is created after that day starts its period at its first sign-in. During the period the account can use both programs in full
Extension The provider can extend the period of an account on request, once the period has started. The user asks through a support ticket
After the period The programs are read only. They open and show saved plans. They build no new plan and follow none
Subscription A subscription will be offered later. Subscriptions are not open during the pilot phase
Terms of the subscription [[FILL: terms of the subscription, to be added before subscriptions open]]
End of the pilot phase [[FILL: how and when the provider ends the pilot phase, and how users are told]]

6. Licence

Field Value
Craft Planner [[FILL: licence terms of the Craft Planner]]
Craft Helper [[FILL: licence terms of the Craft Helper, including the number of computers per account]]

Both programs will ask for a Google sign-in when they start and check the sign-in with craftplanner.io. The website answers with the state of the account. Before the tools are announced the state is registered. After that it is pilot period, subscription or read only. One state covers both programs. The Privacy policy describes the data involved.

7. Acceptable use

The user shall not:

  • share an account with other persons,
  • remove or bypass the licence check,
  • resell or redistribute the programs without the consent of the provider,
  • disturb the operation of this website.

8. Estimates, not guarantees

The programs calculate chances and costs from game data, rules and prices. Each rule names its source. Prices come from a third-party service or from the user.

The figures are estimates. A real craft can cost more or less. The provider gives no guarantee for the outcome of a craft or for a profit.
