4. Account and Google sign-in¶
The account uses a sign-in with a Google account. This website receives data about the account from Google when you sign in.

Google processes the sign-in under its own privacy policy. This website never receives your Google password.
5. Pilot phase and subscription¶
The Craft Planner and the Craft Helper are coming soon. Every account gets a pilot period. It starts when the tools are announced. For an account that is created after that day it starts at the first sign-in. Before that day the website stores that the account exists and no running period.

6. Launch notice¶
On the account page you can ask for an email when the tools are available. The box for it is not ticked beforehand.

The website sends no email today. It has no mail sending yet.
7. Sign-in check of the programs¶
The Craft Planner and the Craft Helper ask you to sign in with Google when they start. Both programs send the identity of the account to craftplanner.io at start to check the sign-in, and nothing else.
The website answers with the state of the account and the end date of that state. Before the tools are announced the answer is that the tools are not available yet. After that the state is pilot period, subscription or read only. The answer is the same for both programs.

8. Discord link and support tickets through Discord¶
Joining and linking¶
You can join the Discord server of the project and link your Discord account to your account on this website in one step. The button "Join the community" on the account page starts it.
Discord then asks you for two permissions. The first lets this website learn which Discord account is yours. The second lets this website add your Discord account to the server. This website uses the second permission once, at that moment, to add your account to the server. It does not keep the access that Discord hands over for these two steps.
The linked account receives roles on the server. One role shows that the account is linked. One role shows the state of the account: pilot period, subscription or read only. The website changes this role when the state of the account changes. Roles are visible on the server. A staff channel on the server records each change of these roles with the Discord account, the roles and the reason.
Before the tools are announced a linked account holds the role that shows the link and no role for a pilot period.

Support tickets through Discord¶

The website stores a ticket in the same way, whether it was opened on this website or through Discord. A ticket opened through Discord belongs to the website account that is linked to your Discord account.
Plans shared on the Discord server¶
A plan that you share in the forum share-a-plan of the Discord server is stored by the project, with the title, the text and the tags of the post, your Discord user id and the plan file, so that the project can check plans and improve the programs.
Discord processes data on its own service under its own privacy policy.
9. The programs on your computer¶
The Craft Planner loads prices from poe.ninja when you refresh the prices. Your computer contacts that service directly for this.
Targets, plans and progress files stay on your computer as local files. The programs do not send them to this website.
